I'm surprised you techno-heads didn't notice this from the beginning. I have a 65" Mitsu DLP and got that sucker cranking right away as soon as I saw the options after 1.80. WOW this feature combined with Mitsu's Tru - Color option is astounding! Check it out....

with # 35 Rooted_Dust. These games are stylistically light years apart. A Super sci-fi - Stargate-ish - other world shooter vs. a Mad Max ridden - Aliens - quasi - Vietnam shooter. Please let's not go off the deep end here folks. Resistance was a launch title and H3 is in Beta. IMHO both games are fun as hell to play. Everone take a deep breath and relax. Halo 3 should sell better - if it doesn't something is wrong. The better comparison will be H3 vs. KILLZONE. That's the main event...

wth the guy above me is talking about, but yes you're games will be upscaled via the PS3 if your telly is able to support the refined resolution in a native format. In other words, if your're TV is maxed at 1080i then you will get the 720p max out of the game, period. You can override this setting in the PS3's display settings but it might not look the best on the tev compared to 720p. There is no reason for your games to play at 480i with the upscaling applied - that makes no senese whats...
who the hell cares? You'd have to be a fool not to buy a PS3. Grow up.

that's why this thing could mushroom into some kind of wii-sports type phenomenon or even better, on the PS3 because it's easily access & (worldwide)interoperability online, the graphics will be Mac-ish, and the genre / subject matter is hip, slick, relevant, and uber popular.
